Xplorer x 學生社群交流會 跨域交流溝通

東海大學的素養導向高教學習創新計畫(以下簡稱素養計畫)為了幫助教師減輕課程改革的負擔,提供每門課程一至兩位XPlorer教學助理,以協助教師執行課程,提供不同學生角度的意見和支持,以學生核心素養發展課程。
素養計畫致力發展XPlorer教學助理核心素養,包括「溝通互動」(Communication and interaction)和「尊重差異」(Empathy and respect for differences)。為此,素養計畫以跨單位和跨計畫形式,聯合教學發展中心和東海大學苗圃計畫,於10月27日共同舉辦「Xplorer x 學生社群交流會」。
東海大學苗圃計畫安排學生遊玩Bingo遊戲激勵學生跨足非舒適區,以及摺紙遊戲,旨在強調明確和清晰的行動對於團隊溝通的重要性,同時有助於確保團隊的行動保持一致。接下來,由XPlorer教學助理擔任世界咖啡館各桌桌長,與參與學生社群學生進行交流互動瞭解不同社群執行目的與行動。從中,教學助理們認識到不同領域學生關注的議題的多元性,也從中學習不同團隊的運作方式。同時,讓六十多位來自不同學系學生更加意識到,學校正在執行素養計畫,是在協助學生自高中至大學的適應、定向,透過新生課程、舊課翻新與規劃未來學習藍圖,培養學生具備運用科技工具進行自主探索。
In order to alleviate the burden of curriculum reform on professors, Tunghai’s XPlorer Project provided one to two XPlorer TAs for each course. The TAs assist professors in the classroom and provide diverse perspectives and support. This facilitates the transformation of curriculum towards development of core competency among students.
The XPlorer project is also dedicated to develop the core competency of XPlorer TAs, encompassing “communication and interaction”, and “empathy and respect for difference”. To achieve this, the XPlorer project collaborated interdepartmental and interproject with the Center of Teaching and Development and Tunghai University Design-Thinking to host the “XPlorer X Student community conference” on 10/27.
Tunghai University Design-Thinking incorporated engaging activities during the conference. Bingo games that motivate students to step outside of their comfort zone. And oragonmi, to emphasize the importance of explicit and clear actions on team communication, and uniform the actions of team members. Following this, the XPlorer TAs became table leaders of the World Cafe, they interacted with various student communities to understand the diverse purposes and actions of different student communities. Through this, the TAs learned the diversity in topics of interest by students from various departments, and the operational style of different teams. At the same time, over sixty students from various departments gained further awareness that the XPlorer project is there to smooth the transition between high school and university and explore their interests. This is achieved through freshmen courses, redesign old courses and designing learning maps, and cultivation of students' ability to explore autonomously through technological tools.
